South Minneapolis Fall Family Session | Minnehaha Creek | Cory Family

The cutest little fam you ever did see :)

I photographed Sarah and Devin’s wedding a few years ago in Stillwater, MN and now get to photograph their growing family in their new South Minneapolis home close to Lake Nokomis and Minnehaha Creek! It’s such a joy to work with past clients during another milestone of their lives.

Bring on the babies!!

7 Vines Vineyard Wedding

I’m so excited to share this gorgeous 7 Vines Vineyard wedding with you today! Dani and Chris tied the knot on September 11, 2021. It was a perfect day that was full of joy and wonderful relationships.

Chris and Dani met at Lifetime Fitness. Dani worked the front desk there. As Dani says, she would check Chris in when he came in to work out, and check him out! This couple is so laid back and kind. It was such a pleasure working with them. Dani and Chris have 3 pets (2 dogs and 1 cat) who are their family. Plus, they now have a baby on the way!

Dani is literally the kindest human on planet Earth and also happens to be drop-dead gorgeous. She made for the most stunning bride. Dani is also incredibly crafty. The straps of her wedding dress were handmade. She added them to make the look more unique, and it turned out so pretty. She even made the bouquets herself too!

The girls got ready at the couple’s house, and it was so beautiful. There was lots of black and white just like their wedding colors, and they even had portraits of their pets on the walls. It was amazing.

This wedding day truly went off without a hitch. The couple was all smiles all day, and everyone looked amazing. Check out some of my favorite moments from this 7 Vines Vineyard wedding below.

The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm Wedding

I’m so excited to finally share Mason and Brandon’s The Grainary at Lake Valley Farm wedding today! This wedding was faith-centered and loving. The whole day just felt sentimental and intimate.

By far the most memorable part of the day was getting to shoot some baby announcement photos for the couple on the wedding day. They found out they were pregnant just before the wedding, so they brought some little baby shoes to the big day for some announcement photos. It was so precious and so special to be a part of.

On a fun note, the couple brought their bulldog, Ralphie, to the wedding for some pictures. I could not handle how cute Ralphie was! I absolutely love the trend of bringing fur babies to wedding days.

I wanted to write, in my own words, how sweet this couple is, but I decided it was better to let them speak for themselves. Here is how they met - from each of their perspectives!

Brandon’s Story: I first saw my wife when my basketball team was lifting in the weight room. We were just beginning our first lift as her cross country team was beginning to leave the weight room. As they were walking out, one quick look turned into a long double-take, which also lead me to tell my groomsman, Cody, "That cross country girl was pretty cute." Then, being the go-getter that I am, I proceeded to wait over 2 months until she added me on Snapchat, so I could begin the process of marrying this girl ASAP!

Mason’s Story: I had just started at the University of Minnesota-Duluth in the fall of 2018. I was running track and cross country and he played basketball, so I saw him from time to time walking to the locker room or weight room. I instantly told my best friend about him, she eventually told my family about my crush, and then I got bribed into adding him on Snapchat. One night (after a little liquid courage), Brandon Snapchatted me and asked me on our first date. The rest is history!

Who knew Snapchat was such a matchmaker?! I love hearing how couples meet. It just sets the stage for getting to know them more intimately.

Intimate Pinewood Wedding in April

Cassie and Nick’s Pinewood wedding in April was such a joy to be a part of. They are truly such a sweet and kind couple, and I loved having the chance to work at this gorgeous venue.

Sadly, Cassie and Nick were supposed to get married in Iceland and had to cancel twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After a long wait and many pivots, they were so excited to finally celebrate with friends and family.

I was fortunate enough to not only photograph this wedding, but I also provided the floral through my other business, Minne Floral Co. I was about 7 weeks pregnant at the time, so the long 12-hour day was hard on my body. However, the day was truly relaxing and easy. The weather was the perfect spring day, and everyone was so happy to be there.

One of my favorite parts of their wedding day were the couple’s corgis! Need I say more?! Cassie and Nick have two sweet pups, Teddy and Bruce, and they brought so much joy to the wedding day. I would love all my clients to bring their pups on wedding day and use Doggy Social. I can’t recommend them enough!

The night ended with everyone sitting outside by the fire. It was so cozy and romantic. I really love these more intimate wedding days that came out of the pandemic. I hope the trend continues in the future.

Cassie left me the sweetest review after their wedding that I wanted to share with you all:

β€œHannah did our wedding photography as well as wedding florals(through her second company - Minne Floral Co.)! She was incredible on both fronts. The photos are absolutely gorgeous and she captured so much of the day. I was so happy to get them back (a short 3.5 weeks from the wedding!) because it helped me and my husband relive the day again. We will cherish these forever. Hannah is friendly, professional, and extremely talented. I will be recommending her for any friends weddings in the future, and I highly recommend her to you as well.”

Redeemed Farm Wedding | Burgundy & Navy | The Johnsons

This venue, these people, the epic dancing. It was all so wonderful and full of laughs! It was an absolutely perfect fall day for Kenna and Colin’s wedding. The sun was shining until it actually needed to during sunset photos and then decided to disappear lol β€” but I’d still say we got some incredible shots. I left with a belly full of good eats and a heart full of happiness. I loved working at The Redeemed Farm so much! I cannot wait to shoot there again β€” it has the best of everything. Also, Amber Terese Events made this day run soo so smoothly! I hope I get to work with her again some day too!

Engagement photos in woods | Shoreview, MN | Nicole & Joe

Nicole and Joe’s engagement photos in the woods in Shoreview, Minnesota were such a blast! From their style to their fun-loving vibe, these two are just the most ideal couple to work with. This was my first time shooting at this park in Shoreview, Minnesota, and I fell in love with the tall pines at this location. Not to mention, we had perfect weather for this shoot.

Nicole and Joe were so much fun to work with. They are so easygoing. They were comfortable in front of the camera, joked around, and had a lot of fun with the process. I had them do a pose which turned into an ab workout, but they never complained. They are truly down for anything.

Nicole and Joe brought their pups Roony & Goldy to join in on their photos. They brought so much energy to our session. I love when clients bring their dogs to engagement photos, so they can capture images with the whole family involved.

I feel like I truly bonded with Nicole and Joe while taking their engagement photos in the woods. We ended our session with the agreement that skillet cookies are the best dessert. (Do you agree?!) I loved getting to know them, and it made me all the more excited for their upcoming destination wedding.
