What a perfect day… Peter and I went up to Two Harbors the night before and slept in our car after eating some tasty pizza and beer (Peter) from Castle Danger Brewery and had a little sleepover before Jenn & Ryan’s elopement.
Jenn & Ryan’s ceremony took place at the Fitzgerald Manor outside of Two Harbors and it was so magical!! Jenn and Ryan shared their first look out front of the manor, and exchanged their vows surrounded by their closest loved ones. It snowed, blowed, and then cleared to sunny skies about 5 times throughout the day so we got fall photos and winter photos :)
After the ceremony we ventured to Gooseberry Falls to take some husband wife photos. It was a brisk “fall” day but Jen had her boots and leggings on and was such a trooper :) Meanwhile, I’m in a hat, parka, and gloves. I always feel a little guilty shooting winter weddings or sessions because my clients are probably WAY colder than I am haha.
I hope shoot many more elopements up North in the years to come, but this one will be hard to beat!
