What a day! I met Amber and Graham at the Hampton Inn Downtown St. Paul to get ready. Then we headed over to Dellwood Barn Weddings for their first look. The first look is always one of my favorite moments on a wedding day and Amber and Graham’s didn’t disappoint :) We spent the day going between the AC in the bridal suite to sweatin’ up a storm in the sunny 90 degree weather. Nevertheless it was such a beautiful and simple wedding and I am so grateful to have been able to capture it.
Please enjoy a little sneak into Amber and Graham’s wedding day :)

The Minneapolis Event Center was absolutely stunning! I know Hanna was nervous about the construction going on nearby, but I overheard how impressed everyone was with the venue all night long, and it is definitely one of my favorites! The Wild Orchid’s floral arrangements were drop-dead gorgeous as well! Every little detail was perfect, from the arbor to the elevated greenery and garland at the head table! And Hannah’s bouquet, let me just say “Wow!” Melissa’s (MHEvents) planning of course brought everything together in effortless fashion. I honestly wonder if the wedding guests even knew Melissa was there, working her butt off! I suppose that the sign of a good wedding planner is that all the hard work that goes into the big day looks effortless! Everything about this day was perfect, sweet, and whimsical!
Kristine and Ryan got married on an overcast fall day in beautiful St. Louis Park, MN at Oakridge Country Club. They were surrounded by close friends and family and spent the day laughing and trying to not step on the goose poop that littered the golf course. Oakridge Country Club is a dream for Minnesota wedding photographers!!! I had so much fun on the grounds and in the beautiful natural light filled hallway at the club! I was high school friends with a lot of the party and guests, so it was fun capturing all of them and having a blast as well. I may or may not have took a lil sip of apple whiskey. Hey, I was forced!! :)
There are so many Hanna(h)’s this season and I am not complaining :) This Hanna is wonderful and is the proud mama to Owen. The largest, most lovable golden retriever ever to live. It took an army to rein him in during our shoot, but I am so glad he joined us :) I met Hanna and Ben at Theodore Wirth Park in January and spent the afternoon eating’ treats (well Owen did) and taking some super cute pics!! Check them out :)
Jordan and Mitch got married on the coldest day in November. (that might not be accurate, but it was quite nippy). Even though it was freezing, Jordan and Mitch were so cute and such troopers! We got into a good rhythm talking photos. We’d go out, take a few, then go inside and warm up, then go out again. It was actually perfect!! It started to snow during their ceremony, and I couldn’t wait to take them outside and get those whimsical snowy photos. Overall, it was a simple and stunning black and white wedding!
